Tea Time Thursday #91.....A Fall Tea For LaVonne

Happy Tea Time Thursday! I wish to share the tea party I had for my friend LaVonne when she came to visit last week. As you know, we met through a Tasha Tudor group years ago, so to celebrate Tasha's 100th birthday this year, I wanted to have a fall tea for the two of us. What better way to celebrate our friendship as well as Tasha's birthday.

I called it a Pumpkin Moonshine tea using Tasha's book as the theme for the tea party. What fun to use all my pumpkin and fall dishes. I haven't had a tea for awhile, so I really had fun planning and making all the goodies for tea...plus party favors.

Here's a look at the table with all the treats just before we sat down to tea. Yummy.

Of course we had to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Tasha!

Our Annabelle dolls have been friends as long as we have. They met in the Chicago airport the very same day that LaVonne and I met! I think that was about 9 years ago! They came to the party too.

Hitty of Montana made her first trip to Oregon to visit Hitty of Oregon. Such fun for all!

Here you will see a few more dollies. Next Tuesday I will do a post about the two little girls in red. It is a very fun story that I will share. I will be posting it on Stephanie's blog for crafting Tuesday.

Jim snapped this picture of the two of us before tea.

I love this picture...don't you wonder what LaVonne is up to??? Oh, we do have so much fun together. I really had a great visit with her this time. It was different but great fun.
