Spring Flowers in Bloom for Mother's Day

My garden flowers are just popping out big time! The azaleas are in full bloom!

This is my lovely rose by my front door and it is blooming a bit early this year. The bush is loaded too!

More azaleas...more colors...

I do love the pink ones, but then, pink is one of my favorite colors.

The purple chives are back!

This is my mystery rose from my friend in Washington. Every year it gets bigger and bigger and blooms like crazy.

My Shasta Daisies survived the winter. Last year, I lost all of them, so I was happy to have these return.

The bees sure love the sage. The plant isn't as big as it was last year, but I am hoping it will improve.

The rosemary is just beginning to flower. The bees do like this one too.

Happy May Day!

Happy May Day blogger friends! It was just the most perfect spring day here in Oregon. We have been so spoiled by the nice weather all winter and it looks like spring will be the very same. It's been in the 70's and that's so perfect.

I flipped my little calendar over this morning to a new month. I love the month of May! It's the month I plant my flower gardens and everything is so fresh.

I decided to take my camera and go on the hunt for blooming flowers in my yard. I haven't planted anything new yet, but I found many thing blooming. Pansies.....

"Bringing in the May"......Happy May Day!

Happy May Day! I can't believe it's time to flip the calendar over once again. The months slip by so quickly anymore. I will be cleaning house again, but wanted to just take a bit of time to send all my blog friends a virtual May Day Basket! Did you make them when you were litttle? We made paper cones filled with flowers, hung them on our neighbor's door, rang the doorbell and then ran away hoping now to be discovered! I was looking on the internet and found some great ideas to inspire you. Our weather continues to be wet and chilly~I was hoping to plant my flowers this week, but it's looking like that may have to wait for more sunshine!

It's May!

Happy May Day! What a lovely day we had here in Oregon. Sunny and warm. I spent the afternoon cleaning out my flower bed by the driveway. Such a mess-two big lavender plants gone. I moved an azalea, a small lavender and a pink to the bed by the front door where I lost a small shrub. I do hope they take as I need to fill in the empty space. I'm a bit sore as I watch the day slip away. Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow~sigh.

I picked lilacs for the day although they are not open all the way yet. Lavender, purple and white.

Jim gifted me with this darling little May Day plate for Easter. Such a find and he knew I would love it.
