February 1st ♡♡♡♡♡♡

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine told me about the FUNKY SALVATION show that was going to be held at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro OR. I had never heard of it but it seemed like something I would love! LaVonne is with her daughter after spending most of the week with me. I'll be blogging about those adventures this coming week. I had hoped that she could join us, but it didn't work out, so Jimmy and I headed out for some fun. This is my favorite item that I bought. It's a very clever advent calendar that someone made for VALENTINE'S DAY. It's so cute and I can adapt it for all the holidays. Isn't it cute? I think we are going to hang it on the door so it can be enjoyed. I am happy, happy, happy that FEBRUARY is here. January was a long month and it's nice to have it gone.

I love the handles that were attached to hold the sting that looks like clothesline. Each little pocket is numbered and holds a treat as the holiday approaches.

The maker included a bag of treats for the pockets and a coupon book to be used if desired.

Just what is a Junk Salvation show? It's a great flea market type event that is hosted by two sisters...THE FUNKY JUNK SISTERS-Debbie and Dixie. You can read about them on their blog. These gals travel around and organize these shows. It is so nice to have it filled with juried local artists.

These little Valentine heart pins were so cute. We were lucky to have this show right before Valentine's Day. I bought several little gifts for friends, so I can't show you all the goodies. So many talented artists and craft people. It's just great to be able to talk with the booth owners.

This was an adorable little bed with neat linens. Of course I loved the doll bed the best. I don't know why I like dolly beds. I always want to buy every one I find. Alas...no more room!

Can you believe this little trailer? The inside was just charming. Lots of turquoise everything.

It was an entertaining afternoon. I will be going back to this one. We were happy to meet up with Christine LeFever and her most charming hubby Gregory. I was hoping LaVonne would be able to meet them-maybe on her next visit.

I have a week of Valentine crafting ahead! It's time and I have been playing too much....well, can you ever play too much?
