A quick post today for Tea Time Tuesday. I took these photos a few years back when I had a tea for Tasha Tudor Day. Since I'm still on a red, white and blue kick for the 4th of July, I reposted these for my group and wanted to repost them on my blog. Tasha had sets of blue and white china as well as pink lusterware. I like them both. You can see a photo of a teapot of her's in this book.
The silhouette was made by my friend LaVonne and I frames it. I have enjoyed it for many years.
The teapot was a wonderful gift to me from my SIL and BIL who live in Illinois. I treasure it.
I don't know anything about it.
Here's a few photo's from the outdoor tea I had later that day. Tasha had a pet crow, so I often include a crow in my remembrances of her....just for fun.

Hello Lady Linda,
Your tea today is lovely. I have always admired Tasha and think it is wonderful to have a tea dedicated to her.
The tea put set your BIL and SIL gave you is really wonderful. I have never seen one quite like that. I wish I knew some info about it but sadly I do not. Ruth may know though.
Wishing you a lovely week,
Terri
Another beautiful post, the tea pot was stunning. Have a lovely week.
What a beautiful tea set, Linda! The transferware is lovely and it's not often you see one like that. Thank you for sharing and enjoy your day.
Blessings,
Sandi
Love your Tea for Two set, blue and white is a favorite. Tea time is always a good time!
Have a blessed day,
Sylvia
What a pretty tea you've set, Linda, with a sweet nod to Tasha Tudor. The crow in the picture made me smile!
