Hello August, Hello Blogging

August is here! A new month and here in Oregon, it is often the hottest month of the year. I am hoping that is not true this year, as it has been so very dry and so very hot most of July. Most yards are just parched and have the look of straw. It is scary to see everything so dry. The entire West is experiencing the same conditions.

August is also the month that my Jimmy and I were married. We will be celebrating on the 4th.

Our home remodeling is FINALLY winding down. I think it should be finished in a day or so. That will be the end of the inside remodeling jobs for this year. A new roof is the next job on the list to  be completed by fall.

As August is also the month of Tasha Tudor's birthday, I am going to be using this month to review our recent NEW ENGLAND vacation. It will be fun for me to share the most wonderful trip of our life. We loved New England~it is a great place to visit and so very different from the west coast. This would have been Tasha's 100th birthday.

I am going to use this opportunity to get back into blogging...it has been a hard year for faithful blogging.

Wishing you a lovely, memory filled Anniversary! Hope the last month of summer is not too hot for you up there- our heat is yet to come. We usually have high temps in Sept-Oct, and last Halloween we had to have the a.c. on it was so hot! :)

Welcome back to the lovely blog world, dearest Lady Linda! Oh, I have truly missed visiting with you! And happy August...I do hope that it doesn't get too much hotter in your pretty part of the world...it is winter here in South Africa, but this morning we awoke to a very springy day! Hooray!
Have a blessed Sunday and also wishing you a wonderful wedding anniversary!
Hugs to you!

So glad the remodelling is coming to an end and you can get back to some kind of normality. Congratulations on your wedding anniversary, wishing you many more happy years together.

So nice to visit with you dear Linda.
Happy Anniversary on the 4th! My husband is an August baby. His birthday will be on the 8th. This year will be the last of his 50's.
My blogging has been sparse, but I'm looking forward to picking back up. After dad passed away I found it hard to sit at the computer, but I know he would want me to continue on. :-)

Sweet blessings~ Debbie
