Teacup Thursday #50

This beautiful teacup was given to me by my dear friend LaVonne. When I was sharing gifts from friends after Christmas, I wanted to feature this special treat too, but I had packed it away. When I took down my Valentine decorations, I found it packed with some extra things from my tearoom. It's so sweet and I like the fluted cup and saucer.

It's marked Burslem...which is an English made cup. I didn't have much time to research it, but I'm sure Ruth on our Miss Spenser's Teacup Thursday know about the company!

We had snow again this week and it lasted most of yesterday. We have had more winter weather lately than we had all winter!Spring is coming officially next week! I hope it warms up and gets me in the mood. Easter isn't that far away. I have some of my favorite magazines just piled up waiting to be read and enjoyed. I've been so busy with my Etsy that I haven't had much time for much else. I'm not complaining! I need some nice weather and sunshine to start thinking bunnies!

Happy St Patrick's to all my blog friends. I really didn't get to celebrate it this year...next year!

Hi Linda...Oh, that was a very pretty tea cup....delicate and spring-like.

Snow, huh? Well, I looked in my front yard round flower bed this morning and lots of little buds are shooting up. I can't wait to see them bloom so it better now snow on them first.

Hope you have a good day today. And thanks for your visit and comment to my blog. Susan

Hi Linda. A gorgeous teacup! The maker is E.J. Bodley, the design was registered in 1919 so it dates to the 1920s because they changed marks in 1932 and closed in 1939. I love the shape! A wonderful treasure!

That tea cup is just darling. It is so different too. It's pouring here today. We got some snow yesterday but it didn't stick around very long, at least not at my house. I don't mind it as long as I can get out.
