Tuesday February 12

The countdown continues! Valentines is almost here and I'm just finishing up little treats for one and all.
It really has been a fun VALENTINE season this year. I just really got into it all. It's a treasure to have a someone special in your life, a true blessing to have children and family but I also enjoy celebrating
FRIENDSHIP at this time of the year. What a great time to let your friends know how much they mean to you. I love going to the mailbox and finding a letter or a card for Valentine's Day. I get as excited as I did in grade school with those homemade Valentine mailboxes.

I'm meeting a friend today for lunch at the Troutdale General Store. Nancy and I have been friends for over 20 years. She was a card rep when I had my shoppe and we used to travel to the gift shows together. We have stayed friends and even though we don't get to see each other as often now, we will always be friends.

So, don't forget your friends this Valentines!

Those of you who know me, know that I am a total Lincoln nut! Happy Birthday Abe! I'm working on a blog post for next week now that we celebrate President's Day.

I became engaged on this day 40 years ago! We have always called my ring the Lincoln Diamond....I cannot believe it has been 40 years since that day Jimmy asked me to marry him. He had my ring inside a big box of candy! Love you Jim.

You're the best birthday present he's ever received!
Have fun with Nancy. I've been fondly thinking of our Valentine tea at your house with Clarice, the girls and Kristen. Bittersweet memories! Miss 'ya!

Awww...what a special month for you :)

I am sorry for not visiting sooner, I have not been on the computer as much.
I received my package yesterday :) It was like Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one day! I thoroughly enjoyed opening the box and looking at all of the goodies. Wow, I feel very blessed! Thank you for all of the wonderful items.

I just finished writing my post and will hopefully put it put at the end of this week :)

I hope you have a very Happy Valentine's Day.

Hugs and blessings,
Stephanie
