Monday

Yes. here we are starting another week! Happy Monday, We had a rainy and wet weekend and Jimmy and I just kind of "hunkered down" as he puts it. I watched movies and worked on an embroidery project I am doing for a friend. We were lazy.
Today, I am thankful for waking up, feeling good and  being rested. I am ready to make a my to do list and hope to get more done this week. The weather will be warm this weekend.We are trying to finish yard work and Jimmy needs to get his tomatoes going. The old Italian has to have tomatoes. We watched some YouTube posts on planting and caring for tomatoes. We both learned a lot

It's Monday!

My blogger friend Shawn at Poetry In A Pot of Tea made this beautiful card for me and it just made my day! Of course, she included a nice tea bag for a cup of tea. You can't see the ribbon swirl with this flat image, but it is just lovely. Shawn makes the best cards. I like to play around with card making, but she is a pro! Her designs are so fun and the materials are first class.

As I start a new week, that's going to be a busy one, I'm going to try to be more cheerful and not let January pull me down again!

Monday February 11th

Just a busy Monday...I think we had too much fun celebrating the birthdays over the weekend! Trying to catch up with everything today. I'm not sure how I'm doing!

Monday, Coffee and My Project Notebook

Good Morning! It's Monday and a brand new week. I do love my tea, but have to have a cup or two of coffee in the mornings to get me going. I was looking at clip art and I found coffee and newspaper combos and had to chuckle. It's a cup of coffee and my computer when I wake up. Guess someone should make some new clipart for us.

Jim's show was a giant success and he was very pleased. He is tired today and sure needs to rest and do nothing for a day. The old winter EAST WIND is blowing hard again so it is a good day just to stay inside.

I haven't talked about my PROJECT NOTEBOOK before. I love keeping one to help me organize my weeks and I like having a place to write down things that I NEED to do and WANT to do. I am retired, but I'm a busy person, so my days are still very full. This is the my second planner and it is fun to keep them and look back over the pages to see what I accomplished. It's also a place where I can put my wish lists and dreams. It's filling up for the week already. Need to pick my dad's quilt up from the longarm quilter, coffee with a friend on Tuesday morning, Bible study on Thursday, Tea Time Thursday, and I have another Valentine project I want to start today. Etsy seems to find it's way on each page.

A Winter Monday

Winter has settled in here in Oregon, meaning rain. I think I need a new umbrella and isn't this one pretty? This would cheer you up on a gray rainy day.
I spent the day packing and shipping ETSY orders and took down my last Christmas tree. Hope to finish packing up the last of the Christmas things tomorrow in my tearoom. I will set it up for Valentine's now. I don't decorate much for Valentine's Day except in my tearoom as it's so Victorian and pretty.

Sparkle

Monday, Monday....a new week after a busy and delightful Mother's Day. I hope to do a blog later on my lovely day with pictures.

My friend Denise from Coffeeberry Cottage sent me some darling handmade tags. I was reading her blog, and read about Tobi Britton at the Pink Fairy Cottage and her new blog Sparkle Mining. She is a sweetheart and has such a neat idea to link to other's blogs when you find a cool one to sort of pass it on! She thinks that it's a wonderful idea to work on getting some sparkle back into your life! I agree. Spring time makes it easier to work on your sparkle. I know sometimes I find myself looking at other's blogs and then I come across one that is very special. So, Tobi suggests that you feature an inspiring blog and do some sharing. She call that Sparkle Mining.
So, later this week, I hope to go Sparkle Mining and see what I can find to shine up my own "sparkle" and hlep you add to yours.
