Sweet Stephanie's Tea Cup Exchange REVEAL!

I signed up again for the sweet Stephanie's tea cup exchange. I happily participated in this one for fall. If you have never had the pleasure of joining an exchange, this would be a great one for you to try out. Stephanie has the most wonderful blog. You can find her blog, The Enchanted Rose,  at theenchantingrose.blogspot.com Stephanie spends a great deal of time organizing and doing her exchanges the right way. Thank you again dear friend for setting another exchange up for us to have so much fun.

I received this wonderful box quite some time ago. I like to save my goodies for awhile and wait for the reveal. Lea probably thought I forgot about her and her MOST GENEROUS gift box. You can see her blog, CiCi's Corner at www.ciciscorner.com She has a lovely blog so do visit her.

This is what I found when I opened the box! I was getting excited to open all the goodies inside!!!

Here's my "loot" all opened up. I will show the items to you...so keep reading.

What a sweet letter! So personal and very sweet.

She had the tea cup safely wrapped up in a separate gift wrapped box. Oh my!

Look at this most beautiful tea cup! The color is stunning and the bird design on the china is just lovely. It's quite large too...I have never seen a tea cup this size. Perfect for a yummy cup of tea.

Lea included two kitchen towel in my favorite fall colors and a most special wooden spoon that says THANKFUL. How perfect is that for this time of the year?

In her not to me, Lea said she is not a tea drinker. She sure picked out great teas for me. YUMMY.

I adore this pattern on the little pumpkin paper napkins. How perfect.

Oh, I do love this little kit. It is filled with little note pads and sticky notes. Don't we all need these? And to receive such pretty ones.

I was really looking for some chocolate and there was nothing in the house. I was so surprised to find the Russell Stover treats! My hubby is after the ginger snaps...lol.

You have to see the gorgeous bar of autumn soap and glass soap dish. I just love this set.

So dear Lea, I am sending you the biggest THANK YOU tonight as I share my goodies with my blogger friends and those who might pop over from Stephanie's reveal post the next few days.
I had so much fun.

Tea Time Tuesday #171

So the calendar says it is FALL, however, the temps are to be in the 80's the next few days. This photo is from Pinterest and I just love the soft purple colors.

I didn't feel well today after being up most of the night. Jim took over for me as our daughter was to have a medical procedure. When they got to the doctor's office, they were told it had been canceled.
It's rescheduled for the end of October.

I just had a quick cup of tea this afternoon after A nap. I love this purple and gold fall tea cup. I think I found it last year. You can't see it too clearly, but the pumpkin is a pretty purple velvet fabric pumpkin.

I love the soft colors and leaves on this! The cup is an English teacup made by the Foley Company.

I enjoyed a cup of black almond tea which we bought up in Poulsbo WA at the Grand Market. Sweet and simple for the afternoon.

Tea Time Tuesday #167 Summer Time

It is summer in the Pacific NW for sure...really hot and a bit humid now. My car is in the shop once again, as is my sister's and my daughter's! I wonder if our extreme hot weather has caused problems for the vehicles. It makes you wonder. So, I am still sorting through boxes and we are almost done!

I found three really lovely green teacups today. They just look like summer. All are English bone china cup and saucers.

A nice find! Who knows how long they were packed away. I have so many pink teacups so these are a bit different for me.

Soft colors.....

Interesting pattern....

Pretty design inside the cup...I do love that!

Our daughter got home from Mexico last Saturday and is still sick. She has traveled to 13 countries and to rural Mexico in the past and has never been sick. She is leaving for Bali on Thursday, so I am really hoping she is better. She has been to the doctor and is improving slowly. I have only traveled to Canada and I think that's fine with me.

No hot tea for me today. I have more medical tests scheduled...sigh. I need to get to bed tonight as Otto will be waiting for Grandma Linda bright and early.

Did you see the full moon last night? It is so pretty.

Tea Time Thursday #164

I have been so very busy. We have been getting ready for the all city garage sale at Clark County Fairgrounds and we are pretty much out of another storage unit. We will only have one left and we still need that one. I took another trunkful of things to the donation center this morning after I had my blood test at the lab. I wasn't going to go into the Goodwill, however, there was a UHaul truck at the drop off and I couldn't get in. So I decided to go into the store for a few minutes. I found this beautiful Foley cup and saucer. I am trying not to buy things, but this cup was soooo pretty and it just looks like summer.

The design around the center of the saucer is just so different and the circle of flowers is just charming. Of course, it has the green handle and that always does it to me!

I took a quick look at this tea book from my collection. I love it because it's all about small bites.

My friend Angelia sent this tea to me a few weeks ago with a lovely box of treats. I just love Rooibos Red Tea. I don't know how she knew, but it's a favorite.

I so enjoyed a tiny break for a cup of tea. The weather has been so delightful...just in the 70's....cool enough to enjoy a hot cup of tea this afternoon.

Tea Time Tuesday

I really miss having tea time goodies! Being on a low sodium diet and having to watch baked goods and sweets, I haven't figured out how to have or go to tea yet. It takes a lot of time right now to plan out my weekly menu, eat at home and learn how to cook more healthy meals. I am feeling better and getting better and loosing weight, so it's all working. This afternoon, I had a cup of tea in my new teacup and thumbed through a favorite tea time book....A Year of Teas at the Elmwood Inn. I had to peek at the November Afternoon Tea just for fun. Ahhhh.

I fell in love with this fall teacup at a sale recently. I find the shape really interesting and of course, I like the handle.

It's English and a Royal Stafford bone china teacup, trimmed in gold. The colors are just lovely for autumn.

Last week I hinted that I would share some of my vintage paper place cards and other paper goods. I just love ephemera. This one has a great little turkey theme.

This one is homemade and has the person's name on a piece of yarn around the turkey's neck.

I love the colors in this little set with names nicely written on each card!

I only found 3 of these handmade little cards. Each has a turkey sticker and a little saying on each card.

Here we have two different bridge tally cards for fall. I think I have some more somewhere.

I've had this little vintage Thanksgiving card for year. I always liked the heading...Thanksgiving Joy!

My daughter found these little turkey nut cups for me a few years ago. I often wonder how these things survive.

I love this small box with bright graphics! I found it last summer at an outdoor antique show. I was happy to find that it had some of the stickers inside.

Well, that was fun! I am always on the hunt for fun seasonal paper.
Are you getting ready for Turkey Day? We will be going out to Salty's overlooking the beautiful Columbia River for their annual buffet and then over to my sister's for dessert in the evening. It will be a challenge to eat healthy. They always have salmon and turkey and salad, so I will be ok. My dietician said I could have a little pumpkin pie...skip the crust and eat a small amount. I can do that!

Tea Time Tuesday....#120

Ahhhh, Tea Time Tuesday and summer! One of the best things about summer time is fresh berries! Raspberries are my very favorite and I can never get enough of them! This is my little fun gathering for Tea Time Tuesday this week.

I just adore this cup and saucer! It was found by my Jimmy and it's a keeper for me. It whispered  to me upon arrival, that it wanted to live in my tea room! Well, yes, of course!

The roses are so lovely and it's trimmed it gold with a green leaf inside the cup.

It is marked Bavaria. Sadly, I'm just not an expert on these markings. I have tea friends who are and I admire that gift. I just love what I like and call it good.

Isn't she a pretty little thing?

Her maiden filling....chocolate strawberry tea! YUMMY.

This is the boxed mix that I used for the muffins. Interesting...I liked using the greek yogurt and they turned out quite tasty. I did have one, as I made them into mini muffins. I'm trying to work on an inflammatory diet, so I can't have muffins. I will take these over to my daughter's house to be enjoyed.

I CAN eat raspberries and I savored each and every little one.

It's another cool and cloudy day here in Oregon, so I can still enjoy that hot tea. Maybe sunny and warmer days ahead???
I link up each week with a couple favorite blogs. I am going to try to expand that, so I will be adding a few links in the upcoming weeks.
