Sunday Thoughts

Sunday afternoon and I am still not feeling well! Goodness, I just hate being sick and this has lasted too long. I have absolutely no energy and have been sleeping and napping a lot! I am not a napper, so this is really kind of strange for me.
My daughter says the grandkids are ok now and back to normal. I just hope the mama doesn't come down with this.
So, I am going to try to have a JOYFUL heart the rest of today! I need some of the Lord's good medicine. I really need to get over this and get back to normal. So that is my prayer!

Sick Grandchildren=Sick Grandma!

After caring for the sick Otto and Ava last week, Grandma Linda has been sick! I have lost most of this week and just haven't been able to get much done. The kids are better now and I am hoping that tomorrow I'll have my energy back and be ready to go. I just hate being sick!

So Much For Plans....

My poor Jimmy is really sick. I have picked up the cough and cold. Lots of our family is sick too-sigh. 

So much for catching up on the blog. 

Kleenex, water, cough and cold meds and rest. 

Yikes...Sick and Very Hot Summer Weather!

A stubborn cough started up last week and hit me big time on Sunday. Just when I was getting back on track with my blogging, I haven't been up for much of anything. I slept Sunday away and do feel a bit better today.
The very hot weather that the entire West has been dealing with for almost a week, has been just that~HOT HOT HOT!!!! We've been in the 90's for days. Not a good combo with being sick.
Our daughter gave us a nice portable AC a few years ago and Jimmy brought it over first thing this morning. Thank you Angie! It makes so much difference.
I have been doing a bit of work sorting through things and getting my cottage/studio set up. I am just so anxious to get it done.
