My friend Nancy's quilt guild put on a wonderful quilt show last week. One of my favorite things at local quilt shows is the "bed turning"! The ladies from the Latimer Quilt Museum love to bring vintage quilts for show and tell. I always just enjoy them so much and I also learn a great deal about quilting in our country. They put about a dozen quilts on a bed and then one by one, they show them and give you any history they might have on the quilt or the type of quilt. Enjoy the quilts...I think I was able to get a photo of most of them.

What wonderful quilts! Our guild also does a bed turning each year at our show and it's one of the highlights for me. I love to volunteer to be a holder so I can get "up close & personal" to see all the details!
They are all indeed beautiful, what a joy to see each one revealed.
Those are love Linda - each one tells a story touched by someones hands. The red and green one would be lovely at Christmas. I do love the sunbonnets girls.
All fantastic quilts. I had to miss our quilt show this week cause I have such a cold but there is one in August that I hope I can make. Enjoyed seeing all these. hugs, lj
Wspaniałe kołdry. Podziwiam ile pracy trzeba, aby uszyć jedną. Miłej niedzieli. :)
