Full moon tonight! It's the first full moon after the beginning of fall, so it's called the Harvest Moon.
It is a big and beautiful moon here in Oregon with a clear sky!
When Jim and I were up at Timberline Lodge in August, I took these pictures of one of their displays.
I thought it would be fun to share this fall for the full moon. This info is from the Camp Fire Girls Handbook. It lists the September moon as the Leaf Falling Moon...I like that!
I hope you were able to see the full moon tonight.

I loved looking at all the displays and amazing arts and crafts at Timberline when we were there. There was one display window in particular that I just HAD to see, because there is a picture of one of my husbands relatives with Kohnstamm. (They were good friends.) I'm not naming names, but you already know my last name, so you can probably figure it out. :-)
Hi Linda...Nope. Can't see the moon here tonight because the sky is filled with rain. Susan
Hi Lady Linda... I'm always looking for the full moon in Autumn skies ... especially on a dark starlit night... thanks for sharing these sweet displays...hugs
What a fun post! We were just enjoying that awesome Harvest Moon tonight...although the official Full Moon was Saturday, right? Wow. It was deep yellow and HUGE as it rose over the dark hills near our home. THANK you for being such a faithful visitor to my blog!
