Tea Time Tuesday #113

I wasn't introduced to Anne of Green Gables until my girls were growing up. I just fell in love with the stories and lately, I have been longing to watch the movies again. I found this unopened box on Etsy and decided since this is the version I enjoy most, I would order it. I am going to start watching the whole set soon!

I have been looking for a teacup for quite some time and found a delightful seller in Canada who had one to offer. I was pretty excited. I long to visit Prince Edward Islands someday.

The cup and saucer is just perfect. I love the colors and the house. It's a nice addition to my collection with meaning and memories of my girls when they were little. It is a Royal Grafton and is in wonderful condition.

I just HAD to order this raspberry cordial tea! What could be more perfect for enjoying an Anne of Green Gables movie?

I adore the Anne of Green Gables books; and the videos....I have watched them many times. I adore Anne, Diane, Marilla, Matthew, Gilbert; even funny and exasperating Rachel Lynde. Wouldn't it be wonderful to visit Prince Edward Island and wander through that beautiful countryside and see what Anne saw. How amazing that there is a teacup with Green Gables. That is a find. Enjoy those videos whilst sipping your raspberry tea.

How wonderful to go back in time and explore Prince Edward Island and see what dear Anne saw. Love the beautiful cup/saucer, a real beauty. Take care.

Oh Linda, I agree, I just love the stories. I have not read the books but the videos are just "my cup of tea" so to speak! And speaking of tea, that teacup is just perfect and tea sounds delicious!

Love ANYTHING Anne of Green Gables! I had heard of the book when I was growing up, but never read any until after the movies came out. Then I read as many as I could get my hands on! Whenever I have a bad cold or something like that, I park myself on the sofa and have an Anne of Green Gables movie marathon!
I did get to go with my sister and her family to Prince Edward Island and it was a most memorable trip. I bought a thimble from the gift shop, not being into collecting teacups at the time. Now I REALLY want one!
