Tea Time Thursday #9

Happy Tea Time Thursday and Happy Spring! This week's tea cup is so pretty and it is actually going to be a gift for Easter. I think it's so pretty with it's beautiful lady and sweet wisteria plants.

I think the colors are stunning and I like the shape of the cup even though it's more modern than I usually choose.

Pretty detail in the border and on the inside of the cup. My favorite tea cups always have something on the inside of the cup.

This is a Villeroy and Boch cup and saucer. Very nice quality and I prefer the ones with lots of color.

Last weekend we were at a sale and this applique quilt just had to come home with me. It's quite large and the design is beautiful. It's hand quilted~lots of quilting and a lovely quilted pattern all over the top.
I love all the spring colors. I think I must really be ready for spring as I'm tired of the dark colors of fall and winter.

I love to collect old cards and paper goodies. I found these when I unpacked my Easter goodies. I thought the colors were perfect with the quilt colors.

I've had these two little boxes of spring time stickers for years. I think they are so cute in their little boxes. These are the old fashioned ones that you had to moisten to make stick.

This cute bunny is showing off two porcelain eggs. The large on is a covered box that I have had since I was a teenager. It only has a tiny little chip. Not bad for it's age!

I decided a few years ago that I like china eggs and have been an the "hunt" for them.

This little miss is a tiny doll made with a painted bead head, pipe cleaner arms and a crepe paper skirt. She is only about 3" tall and so adorable. She's a bit fragile but in good condition. I will take care of her!

The weatherman says we will have another stormy day and then the sun should return and the days should warm up. That sounds nice to me.

My daughter Gina and her hubby Eric are flying to Japan today for a vacation. They will not be returning until Easter Sunday. If you would keep them in your prayers for a safe journey, I would be grateful. The mama bird doesn't like her baby birds to be out of the country but I am trusting that they will be safe and have a restful time.

Hi Linda,
It is a pretty teacup with its wisteria border. I like china eggs too although I do not collect them. A cute post. Thank you for sharing at my HOME. I also enjoyed seeing all your swap gifts too. They are really lovely.

Easter Blessings,
Sandi
