Cadbury Egg Addiction!

So one of the things I just LOVE from the assortment of Easter Candy we are tempted with each year, is the Cadbury Mini Eggs. Oh my, a bag of those treats can just disappear at my house! Shame on the bunny for offering these goodies!

I do love dark chocolate, but I have to tell you, I don't really think the dark chocolate Mini Eggs have the same appeal as the milk chocolate....IMHO! Of course I did manage to eat the bag of dark ones too.

Years ago, my addition started with Cadbury Creme Egg. I still enjoy those, but they are almost a meal in themselves. I think I'm the only one who likes them in my family, but my girls always make sure I get one in my Easter basket. Now they have the smaller packs, so you don't overdose at once. Yes, I know they are bad for me, but they only appear once a year.

Isn't this a riot! I have never seen this advertising vehicle, but I would love to get a look at it! It reminds me of the Oscar Meyer wiener mobile when I was a kid. I did get to see that when I was about 6 years old.

Do you have a favorite candy treat that comes out only at Easter time? Do tell, or should I say, do confess! Just some silliness for on this Friday.

I love Cadbury chocolate. When I was a child my mother would buy Cadbury toffees, all wrapped so colorfully in a cute box or tin. I used to sneak them like crazy, she always had to change the hiding place. Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comment. (hugs) xo

If it's candy, I like it. I'm allowing myself a treat once in a while.

Haaaa! Don't even get me started on Mini Eggs! lol LOVE them! I didn't even know that they made them in dark chocolate. I must have tunnel vision.
We were always so excited to see Cadbury eggs in our baskets each year when we were little. The other thing that we loved was from Brachs. And my sister and I couldn't find them this year or last. They were called "Basket Eggs", and they were about the size of a golf ball but shaped like an egg (of course). The out sides were different bright colors. Kinda of crunchy sugar that you had to bite through, and then the inside was kind of like marshmellow but firmer.
Haaa! Do I sound obsessed with these or what? lol But it's the memories I think! I loved how they looked in my basket.
But we think they've stopped making them! Oh well...at least I have my MINI EGGS!

Cadbury is my favorite chocolate. I always buy a lot when I go to England. I like the ones with nuts. My mom used to bring some in cans when she went to Hongkong when I was a little girl. I can't find them anymore. Cute post!...Christine

My sister and I have always loved Cadbury eggs. I know they came out with smaller ones, but I still like the big ones because there is more cream in them :) I also like the chocolate covered peanut butter eggs...in fact I ate quite a few of those today.

Enjoy your weekend, my sweet friend!

Love and hugs,
Stephanie

I will confess I love really yummy jelly beans. Not the Jelly-Belly kind, but fresh ordinary jelly beans and the fruit-flavored ones. I can eat the whole bag.

Hi Linda:)
No special candy at Easter. I'm not a big candy person, it makes me feel too guilty! haha. However, I do adore 'Indian Corn', which is the chocolate version of Candy Corn when October rolls around.
Have a blessed day,
Shawn
