Teacup Thursday #57

Happy Mother's Day to all my blogger friends who know the joys of motherhood! I wanted to share this sweet pink cup and saucer with you for Miss Spenser's Teacup Thursday. I got it recently at an estate sale and as I love pin and this type of teacup, I thought it would be a good one for Mother's Day. It's not marked but it looks some some I have that are from Germany.

I love that it says Remember Me on it and don't you love the handle? I have it sitting on some Mother's Day cards that I need to get in the mail~I've been working in my yard the past few days and I get so involved in my gardening!

Here's a few pictures from to show you how my flower beds are coming along.

The picture above is the bed in front of my house under the window. This morning it was full of 5 over grown and sick miniature roses plus two kinds of grown cover. Jim helped me pull it all out and I replanted it with daisies, lavender, geraniums and petunias. I line the bed with saucers and butter plates.
I'm almost done planting and redoing in the front yard...I still have to pick out my flower baskets~that
might be a treat tomorrow!

Have you these new stamps the Post Office issued? Just perfect for Mother's Day and spring time.
I'm going to tea on Friday with some friends, so hope to post after a fun day with some special friends.

Happy Mothers's Day! Enjoy your day.

Your garden looks great for having just put it in. Mine looks kind of bare. I'm still adding things. The teacup is lovely.

I love the way you lined the bed with plates. I may have to borrow the idea if there are leftovers. I wish you could come for the sale also. I think they are starting with private sales to dealers first, and perhaps having a public sale at the end. I'll let you know. Is there anything in particular you are interested in?

Loverly gardening, milady! Now that our roof is up and the mess is cleaned, we are able to start our wildflower garden plan. Ed is putting in the new stepping stones now and we'll be seeding tomorrow afternoon as a Mother's Day treat! I love the serendipity of a bag of wildflowers sown - and we're adding punch with select annuals for more color pop! We shall see what turns up . . .
Joy!
