Sunday Thoughts

I don't think many of us can really express our feelings right now about our country. This has been a sad and disturbing week that seems very dark. I love this verse and it is helping me to get my thoughts together on this Sunday morning. I have reasons to rejoice and am so thankful I have the Lord in my life. This world is not my home and I know I am just passing through. But as I am on that journey, I know the Lord expects me to be a loving person, to do His work whenever I can, to trust Him and to know that even when this world seems so crazy, He is in control and there is a plan.
The other part of this verse that  I like is to pray without ceasing...pray WITHOUT CEASING! Not just in the morning or at church or at bible study, but all day. So, that is what I am going to work on this upcoming week.

You know I do that, and I'm so use to Thanking God immediately for small blessings and a lot
of time I find myself speaking audibly, You really get some strange looks from the world.
But they don't think a thing about cussing someone out.
Nice post, I appreciate it.

Excellent words of wisdom you have shared with us and a good example to follow.
God is on the throne, may we keep looking up and onward with Him as our Guide.

Love to you, sweet friend~~

AMEN ! So glad to call You friend.I'm really getting slow and discouraged with blogging, but when I think of the few ladies I do treasure visiting, one being You,I keep going with blogging. We have so much in common Dear Linda-it's a pleasure being Your friend. To answer Your question...I still love Bible Journaling and Bible artwork(in My Bible). In fact it stimulated once again a new closeness to Our King. Now I'm doing a new in depth study, reading through the whole Bible once again.I have found out that it's quit different doing it at My age. Isn't it amazing there is always something that seems new each time You go over each book. Love Denise
