A New Dress for Miss Bunny

As much as I love the pastel and soft colors of Easter, there's something about the bright colors of German Easter bunnies and eggs. It must be my heritage. I love the paper mache brightly colored eggs and all the little wooden figures all done in primary colors.

Yesterday, on my Tasha Tudor group, I shared this bunny for Fiber Friday. WHen I found her, she had a yucky pink dress...not fitting for Miss Bunny at all! i used a doll dress pattern and made her a new dress.

The fabric is darling and looks like a German scene with chickes and eggs. It has a nice vintage look.

Of course, she had to have pantaloons! She is a proper bunny you know!

Here's the back of her dress. I made here a little blanket to sit on and fixed up a little basket for her too.

We have had a wet and windy week here in Oregon. I woke up this morning to yet another high wind watch on my phone. Goodness...Old Man Winter isn't finished in Oregon. Spring is just around the corner. We go on Daylight Savings time tonight...ugh. I really wish they would leave the time alone. It's hard on people to bounce back and forth. Just pick one and leave it be...IMO!

I'll be doing some baking and crafting today. Better get the baking done before there's a chance we could find ourselves without power. Happy Saturday.

Oh what a pretty bunny with a beautiful dress. Pastels are great, but so are ark colors.

You bunny is so cute. Love her outfit. Winter is definitely not over for us here in northern IL either. Last week we had weather in the 50's & 60's; now it's back down into the 40's and rainy. Snow showers coming this weekend!
