Tea Time Thursday and Blossom Time #73

Blossom time...springtime...beautiful time of the year! Don't you just love all the pastel colors that dot the green trees coming back to life? As I drive down the road, I marvel at all the different pinks and whites and even purples of the blossoming trees in spring. They never last long enough for me!

For this Tea Time Thursday, I am sharing a beautiful teacup that we found last weekend at an estate sale. Yes, it just had to come home with me! It is sooo pretty and perfect for spring. Notice the spring branch inside the cup, a feature that I always love in my teacups. It is called Blossom Time by Royal Albert. You just have to love those Royal Albert teacups. They always have such a distinct look and such a nice quality.

Pink, pink, pink...love, love, love! Mother Nature must delight in her new spring outfits.

I found this lovely book on Amazon called Cake Chic by Peggy Porschen. I think It will be on my wish list for Mother's Day. Wouldn't you just love to find one of these sweet little cakes on your tea plate? So yummy and so beautiful. You can pull her recipe off on Pinterest for these little gems.

Our weather is chilly today, so it doesn't really feel like spring. I just have to look at this post and I feel like it's spring again! I know some of my blog friends got some more snow yesterday! SNOW!!! I am thankful I live in the Pacific Northwest. I think it's time for a cup of tea to warm up a bit. Happy Spring.

Dearest Lady Linda! What an elegant Royal Albert tea cup and I love how pink it is! Sipping tea from it must be a delightful experience!
The buds on the trees are so pretty...I love how they adorn the saddest looking branches of a tree and make them so incredibly beautiful and fresh!
And those little tea cakes look too divine for words! Not only do they look good, but I am certain they do taste lovely as well!
Have a blessed and happy Friday and a very special weekend!
Much love and hugs,
Kelly-Anne

I've seen this teacup at the antique barn, it's a pretty one to sip tea from as the fruit trees are showing off their blossoms.
We had even more snow overnight and found a couple of inches blanketing the gardens.

You have me in awe... Pink~ my favorite color and this post is over the top in pink, Linda! WOW!!
That tea cup has got to be one of the prettiest spring tea cups I have ever seen, I can see why it came home with you, oh my. And those peti fours are gorgeous! I would love to be able tho make those. I've heard it's not too hard, but I don't believe mine would look like that.
But ~ those blossoms~ just amazing! Beyond gorgeous.
I believe this is my favorite post of yours, Linda.
Lovely, just lovely.

Enjoy your week-end
Debbie

Such a beautiful teacup! I've admired this teacup from afar and would love to have one in my collection one day. The paintings of the blossom trees on the cup are stunning and really capture the season of spring. Gorgeous photos of the real blossoms too!
