I hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day! Jimmy and I had such a nice day. He always gives me roses for special occasions and loves giving them to me. I love receiving them! This pretty rose is called ENGAGEMENT. We got engage 43 years ago on February 12th. He just couldn't wait until February 14th.
There are flowers outside too! I think spring will be early this year. It's hard to believe the warm weather we have been having when so much of the country is being buried in snow.
After we had our coffee, we headed off to the Crossroads Doll Show! I look so forward to this show which comes to Portland twice a year.
This is a tea cozy doll from Russia. I have a small collection of these. I will have to do a blog post on them. The lady who had this one for sale, told this lady was from the 1970's. I just found one last week at an estate sale!
Lots of different kinds of dollies to look at and dream about.
Jim is such a good sport to go with me. He sits down and always seems to find someone to hcat with.
We made a few stops on the way home and hit a wonderful estate sale. Lots of new goodies for our upcoming Expo show in March.
We were starting to get hungry, so we decided we would like to try the TROUTINI, a martini bar and restaurant in Troutdale.
I went for the Raspberry chocolate truffle martini...Wonderful!!!
Jim ordered the seafood special
I ordered the chicken curry with roasted vegetables. It was sooooo good. The curry was mild and full of flavor without being too spicy..
It's very nice inside and it's decorated in very comfortable Columbia River Gorge style.
After the lovely dinner, are had show and tell back at home with all our bags of good stuff.
It's always a great day of shopping when you find a HITTY book and A TASHA TUDOR book!
I hope you also had a fantastic Valentine's Day. I have a few more Valentine treats to share with you this over the next few days.

Wow, you certainly hit the jackpot with all that treasure you bought back with you. Sounds like a lovely meal out. We celebrated with a quiet meal at home together as we start our holiday tomorrow flying to Florida.
Linda,
What a special outing for you two! Looks so fun and I saw a darling vintage barbie case too.
Both of the Martinis looked tasty and you went home lots of goodies!
Love,
Jemma
Sounds like a perfect Valentine's Day to me, Linda. You and Jimmy were made for each other.
The roses are gorgeous, too.
Ohhhh, you KNOW I would have loved that doll show. Susan
