Alaska and Tea Time Thursday #45

Happy Tea Time Thursday! I snapped this picture outside of a tea and coffee shoppe in Homer, Alaska. It was just so cute and I loved the idea. The extra hours of light in the summer in Alaska gives the flowers and produce extra light to grow. I was so surprised at all the beautiful flowers everywhere we went.

Enjoy the following pictures....they make me happy. Flowers are one of my favorite things about summer!

The state flower of Alaska is FORGET ME NOTS. I love them and of course you know that Tasha Tudor loved them too. I had to bring home some to plant.

I really wanted to find a vintage Forget Me Not cup and saucer on my trip, but I never found one. So, I'm sharing a little hand painted plate and demitasse teacup that I own.

I purchased this Rooibos tea at the shoppe in Homer that had all the cute flowers. Rooibos is also a favorite! This will get me through some cold fall afternoons and evenings. I'm sure it will bring back many fond memories.

I'm so impressed with your photos.

I must show them to my daughter who is a freelance photographer at night and by day an Executive Legal Assistant.

Great Post
