Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day
Every leaf speaks bliss to me,
Fluttering from the autumn tree...
Emily Bronte
I love this little poem by Emily Bronte! I look so forward to autumn each year. I feel like I come to life and am totally energized after the long hot summer. I had this conversation with my good friend LaVonne and she doesn't enjoy fall~she is a spring time gal. I think it might have something to do with our birth month and I find it quite interesting.
I have missed a few Tea Time Thursdays so I am trying to beat the clock tonight to finish this post. I have some fall teapots and cream and sugars that I enjoy using, so I will share some of them with you this season. This is a plain black teapot much like a Brown Betty. I found this candy corn fabric tea cozy years ago! I love candy corn and candy corn theme items.
It's chilly tonight and thank goodness the storms have passed and we saw the sunshine for a bit today. No rain for the next three days...yeah! Time for hot tea once again. Don't you think a pot of tea is such a nice way to savor your favorite tea?
I was on the hunt for years to find this little black sugar and creamer. They are just the right size and a perfect fit!
Of course you need a tea tile for your teapot! I don't even remember when I got this one.
You may have notice the beautiful lace tablecloth over my fall plaid tablecloth. I found it on our trip to Montana and it's just so pretty. LaVonne told me it is knitted, not crocheted. I have a round table and always look for special round clothes.
The house is all cleaned and decorated and I was able to do my decorating outside late this afternoon. It feels good to be done and just sit and enjoy it all in the evenings. I found this cleaning list on the internet somewhere and found it really handy.
Whew~I finished my post before midnight. Happy Fall and think of me when you have a cup of tea this week. Enjoy.

I love your fun tea cozy and the sugar and creamer are beautiful! Enjoy:@)
You have a sweet family, Linda. Like your friend, I much more prefer Spring and Summer. It has nothing to do with my birth month. Here on the Island the cold moves in quickly once Autumn comes and from November-December on until April it's ice and snow. Brrr! The winters are so harsh here and I really mind it.
I think if the southern girls and the west coast girls lived through one of our winters you would all understand why I feel the way I do. Thanks for stopping by and linking up at my HOME. Enjoy the weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
